Soberanes fire MODIS data — part 5

The images from this morning’s 9:00 satellite pass show little change from the ones I posted earlier, which were from the 3:00 am pass.

This morning started out with little smoke in the upper Carmel Valley, but it has thickened considerably.

Dark red spots are less than six hours old. Lighter red less than 12 hours. Orange spots less than 24 hours. Yellow spots show fire activity for the entire calendar year.

Next satellite pass is tonight at 10.
