In this post and this one, I reported on my troubles with the 2013 version of the Nexus 7.
Since
- The tablet was semi-bricked
- Google washed its hands of the device
- Asus said they’d fix it, but any passwords or data on it were fair game, so I should remove them
- My inability to do so, because
- The tablet was semi-bricked
It seemed like destroying the device was the best option.
So I did a tear-down.
