Java update blues

September 3, 2014 Jim Leave a Comment

Am I the only person who thinks there are way too many Java updates?

java67

Am I the only person who is tired of unchecking the gratuitous toolbar loading box that Oracle tries to con my into every time I update Java?

Am I the only person who is scared not to update Java because of possible security holes and because some web designers — I’m talking about you, AT&T —  check client versions and refuse to run if they don’t like the one you’ve got?

Mmmph.
